After both our Segway and bike tours, we always sit down with you and provide you with some great recommendations to make the most of your stay here in Copenhagen. The 5 must-do’s in our humble opinion is:

• Treat yourself to a great cup of coffee and pastry at Alice Ice Cream & Coffee – they’re only located a 10 min walk away from the free-town, Christiania.
• Grab a bottle of wine or a couple of beers and bring them along with you on a canal cruise like the locals and enjoy the stunning views of Nyhavn, the charming canals at Christianshavn, and Amalienborg – The Royal Palace among many other spectacular places.
• Visit Rosenborg Castle and be amazed by this cute miniature castle and the spectacular crown jewels that the Royal Guards protect. Just don’t bring your fiancé, she will want a much bigger rock afterwards!
• Go explore one or a few of Copenhagen’s countless street food markets such as Broens Gadekøkken, Reffen, Boltens Food Court, The Meatpacking District or/and Torvehallerne to get a mouthwatering taste of the amazing Danish food scene.
• Go visit Copenhagen’s vibrant and hip neighborhoods, Vesterbro, Nørrebro and Refshaleøen, and get a feel for Copenhagenhood.

Our biggest recommendation though and something the whole team here at Segway Tours Copenhagen wholeheartedly recommend is to visit the historical, and magical Tivoli Gardens. It’s fun for all ages and the atmosphere in there is true hygge in its purest form, make sure to visit the bonfires at Gemyse, indulge in a cake from Cakenhagen and if you dare, try the Vertigo! You can always drop by our office at Nikolaj Plads 34 and say hi to us and buy your fast-track tickets for Tivoli and if you would like a tour pass so you can go crazy with all the attractions in there.

Cruise Excursions Made Easy

If you’re visiting Copenhagen with one of the many cruise-ships that visit our beautiful city all year round, it’s super easy to access our starting point! We are located right within the heart of Copenhagen at Nikolaj Plads 34 – it’s only a short taxi ride away from the ports. If you have more time, the cruise ships often also arrange shuttles that stop at Kongens Nytorv, which is a short 5 min walk away from our office. We’ll start and stop at Nikolaj Plads 34 and we’ld be glad to help you show the way back to Kongens Nytorv or to a taxi that can take you back in good time for your cruise. You’re of course also more than welcome to store any luggage at our office, while you’re on our Segway or bike tours.

Not Only For Grown-Ups, Kids Are Very Welcome

Traveling with your children should be fun. We believe the most fun is had when the whole family is together, so our experiences are not only for grown-ups! Kids down to the age of 10 years old are very welcome to join in the fun on all our tours on Segway, while they only have to be 8 years old to join in the fun on our bike tours as long as they have been taught how to ride a bike in public. We even have the option of keeping your family together by letting you do our tour on one of our traditional Danish Christiania cargo bikes (just please inform us in advance!). That way, you can take the younger kids with you for our scenic and fun Segway and bike tours.

Luggage Storage in Copenhagen

If you arrive early to the city or you’re checking in late for your hotel and find yourself stuck with your luggage, we would be happy to help! Our public office is located in the heart of Copenhagen’s city centre and we’re open every day from 8.30 am – 5.00 pm. So come by and hand us your luggage by clicking here and we’ll store it for DKK 60 /EUR 8 per bag, while you get to make the most out of your stay here in Copenhagen luggage free. If you decide to do one of our Segway or bike tours, we even store your luggage completely free and you get a great introduction to the city and your Copenhagen adventure.
