Yes, absolutely. Everyone will get a training session before the tour. The guided Segway tour will not start before you feel safe and comfortable. After just a few minutes, or even seconds you will connect with the Segway and riding becomes natural and intuitive.
Our Segway tours start from our large 500m2 shop at Nikolaj Plads 34 in Copenhagen Centre. We are centrally located, just 2 minutes’ walk from Kongens Nytorv and 70 meters from Gammel Strand metro.
Guided Segway tours in Copenhagen: Minimum 10 years accompanied by an adult guardian / parent
If you have younger children in your party or someone who feels uncomfortable or unable riding a Segway, we can still offer you a Rickshaw or bicycle solution. This solution entails they will follow you on the tour in the comforts of a Rickshaw or on their own bike, while listening in on all your local guides stories about Copenhagen.
Your tour will start promptly at the scheduled time. The latest check-in for our tour is 15 minutes prior to departure time.
The maximum payload for the Segway PT is 125 kg.
Yes, absolutely! You have to be at least 8 persons or pay for 8 persons for us to conduct a private tour.
No. We operate in rain or sunshine. Should it rain, be windy or cold, we do have extra rain protection and warm jacketts in our office that is offered to you at no cost.
You are always welcome to come by but we recommend you to book online to avoid disappointment.
We will refund the amount paid for all bookings if you cancel no later than 14 days before tour start, however minus a 25% deposit. Booked tours are not refundable if canceled within 14 days before tour starts.
Yes, it is possible to change your reservation at least 24 hours before your tour starts. A fee of DKK 150,- / 20,- EUR per person will be applied.
As a standard all of our Segway tours are conducted in English. Our guides are trained to speak slowly and articulate well with guest who are not native in English. Private tours can be requested in Danish & German
The safety of your unborn child is our priority, therefore pregnant women are not allowed on our tours.
Absolutely! Short stops along the route will allow for some time to step down from your machine to get shots of the city and our guides are more than happy to take photos of you and your group on the segways as well.
Ladies should avoid shoes with a high heel. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. In the winter months you should wear extra layers of clothes to stay warm in the Danish Winter.
Our tours operate in groups of maximum 12 people per tour guide.
If your party is larger than 12 people the group will be split up into more groups for safety reasons. The groups will depart simultaneously and you will all meet each other at stops we do along the way as we ride through Copenhagen.
Your helmet is equipped with a built-in headset in great quality. You will be able to hear our guide as we glide through the charming streets of Copenhagen.
The Metro stations, Kongens Nytorv and Gammel Strand (Old Beach) is a 2 minute walk away. The Copenhagen Central Station is a 15 minute walk from our office.
It is possible to park on the street where we are located and the streets around us (at a fee). However, as in most major cities, finding an available parking spot can be a challenge at times. The closest indoor parking garage is at the Magasin department store.
On rare occasions Copenhagen can experience snow and ice in the months of December, January or February. Should the roads not have be cleared and ready for our segways – the tour will be cancelled and a full refund will be given.
We offer flexible group bookings where we make a reservation for the maximum number of participants in the group – no money needs to be transferred at this time. 14 days before the tour we need the final number of participant and we will issue the invoice to you.
When participating on a Bike tour or on a Segway tour, guests always ride at their own risk. Should an accident take place, it is always at participants own responsibility. Please always check you Private insurance before driving. SegwayToursCopenhagen and its Staff cannot be held responsible for any damage to persons, 3rd. parti or belongings of that person during a guided tour.
